I think things would have been a little bit easier if the leaders running our countries would unite us instead of dividing us with manipulative tactics, and same goes for the news media we watch. And yes, nothing can replace that face to face human interaction. I hope we're gradually rebuilding that.
Political language is meant to divide to capture votes and power. Funny thing is many politicians are friendly with each other, they simply want the populace to fight and divide, makes power come more easily.
