Hey Weston, hope you had a great summer. Thank you for reading. One of the good things about what I do when writing about Florida is I learn a lot of new information myself. I actually had no idea The citrus industry was struggling so much.
Me neither and we should all know about it. Working on getting our cabin here in Colorado ready for sale next summer. We are moving back to New England to be close to family. Also, living on top of a mountain with 7-8 month long winters is no country for old men.
Other than the serious Florida Orange juice, condoms, sores, I don’t think many people knew that it was kind of such a problematic issue within the local citrus industry. But there’s a lot of things that have been troubling the crop over the last few decades, but this greening disease is really taking a beating on the citrus.
Thank you so much for reading, it’s always good to hear from you. Sorry, I have not been on Substack this summer, I had to take a break from writing due to other commitments.
That was interesting and informative. I always enjoy my brief view of Florida, one of the most interesting states in our country. thanks
